We are looking for a well rounded Data Scientist / Data & Analytics professional to assist in leading our D&A AI global learning initiative within Equifax. As part of our team you will be helping us build our training portfolio and deliver training globally to our Data and Analytics team. This resource will be an experienced Cloud professional who has a proven track-record for delivering high quality training using AI and GCP technologies. This person will have a passion for sharing knowledge and is comfortable presenting in front of an audience of various sizes and professional backgrounds. You will be instrumental in helping the team identify opportunities to develop materials for teaching new Cloud courses while also delivering training covering existing Google courses, including but not limited to the following specific learning tracks; Vertex and Machine Learning. You will also keep a pulse on the AI communities to determine additional cloud and AI related courses to offer.

What You’ll Do

• Host Weekly sessions on AI and other leading Equifax data and analytics applications

• Update Equifax training sites to include presentations and recordings for training sessions

• Develop AI training roadmap in conjunction with internal stakeholders including our global partners

• Use data to drive/share insights on training effectiveness, stakeholder engagement evaluating our AI approach and modifying where appropriate (you will develop models initially to understand our environment)

• Keep up with external trends relative to model building, educating others on these findings.

• Create custom development packages for Data Scientists and Data Engineers on our AI platform. Understand the available sources to support and optimize our AI capabilities for our vendors and partners.

• You will learn building models the Equifax way, use Google tools, yet support and incorporate new methodologies and tools as well.

What experience you need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related studies.

• Minimum of 5 years’ modeling and analytics experience (Financial Services experience preferred). Should include experience developing models and scores with applications in risk and marketing.

• Experience will include a passion for and some experience in Google based instructional design and delivery (emphasis in topics across Cloud, D&A, and AI technology).

• Minimum of 3 years’ of this experience should be in Cloud environments (ideally you will have a strong working knowledge of all things GCP, but with additional skills in AI technologies).

• Must be able to apply AI techniques to Equifax data and have AI tool experience.

What could set you apart

• Preferred Master’s Degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering

• Any relevant certifications from any of the wider Google range of products will be an added advantage.

• Ability to work independently - much of the AI trainer’s work is done on their own, meaning you should be comfortable taking the initiative

• Ability to collaborate as a team player in a matrix organization

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills across global geographies and collaborating with internal/external customers
