Job Description
Your Team
North America Institutional (“NAI”) is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with institutional asset owners, intermediaries and partners. Our team of dedicated professionals provides insights into industry trends and investor challenges across pension plans, insurance companies, nonprofit organizations and financial institutions. Operating with a client-centric mentality, we strive to bring all of Invesco to our clients, adding value beyond investment returns.
Your Role
The NAI Sales Strategy Analyst will be part of the Sales Strategy and Operations team and will work across all of our sales channels. This data-oriented role will be responsible for developing and maintaining business unit reports and assessments, aggregating industry trends and intelligence, and producing sales territory data and analytics. In addition, this Analyst will support strategic initiatives to further our end-to-end client experience and have broad exposure to various teams and leadership groups within Invesco.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Collaborating with the Sales Strategy & Operations team to design and implement critical elements of strategic business priorities and operating plans
Producing and maintaining operational reports and key business metrics, and partner with other business units to deliver on ongoing reporting needs
Supporting enhanced business data and reporting. Taking ownership of Salesforce data governance and liaise with the CRM team on data management topics
Exploring improved data management processes to ensure accurate and up to date information on existing clients and prospects
Analyzing market trends and maintaining a repository of industry insights
Providing client and market intelligence to Sales team members and supporting prospecting and research efforts in sales campaigns
Working closely with other groups in the firm, including Client Service, Finance, Marketing and Sales Analyst team
The Experience You Bring:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Team player and self-motivated
Strong business and financial acumen and interest
Excellent oral and written communication skills
High proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint, Salesforce or other client relationship management systems, etc. Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI is preferred
General investment industry knowledge
Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
Entrepreneurialism – demonstrate initiative to originate new or innovative approaches
