About this role

The Information Security group’s mission is to evaluate, establish, maintain and monitor compliance with information security controls that protect the Company’s information and computer systems.

The group is led globally by the Chief Information Security Officer, with regional representation by the Regional Information Security Officers in EMEA and APAC. There are six global functional teams across our pillars of Governance, Strategy, Awareness, Risk Advisory and Monitoring & Metrics.

This role is within the Access and Identity Management team within Information Systems.

  • Access and Identity Management (AIM) – The AIM team is responsible for the Identity Governance of all identities at BlackRock. This includes entitlement provisioning, certification, and policy creation. The AIM team is undergoing an exciting transition and implementing extensive automation in all facets of the identity governance program.

Role Responsibility

  • Develop, support, and maintain automated processes for managing user access, including account setup, entitlement provisioning, access review, and policy enforcement
  • Integrate BlackRock’s identity management platform with in-house and third-party applications via REST interface, database connectivity, and custom APIs
  • Work with the AIM team to test and validate automation, and to develop documentation for using and supporting the access management platform
  • Provide second and third-level support of the platform, troubleshoot and resolve problems, document, and implement corrections and enhancements
  • Work effectively within a collaborative team. Manage tasks independently while reporting progress and challenges to the project team. Leverage team guidance and feedback from inception to deployment.
  • Identify areas of improvement for existing processes
  • Gather requirements in terms of user stories or use cases
  • Provide meaningful estimates in terms of effort, timing, and integration
  • Adopt industry best practices, and identify areas for the team to excel
  • Leverage SailPoint IdentityIQ as a platform for automation, including: Connectors, Workflow, Rules, Policies, and Access Certifications
  • Verify features through functional, load, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing

Experience

5 years SailPoint IdentityIQ experience

  • Administration, trouble-shooting, debugging, performance management, development and enhancement

5 years of Java development experience, including:

  • Spring Framework (IOC, Hibernate, JDBC, REST)
  • Hibernate (XML configuration, patterns)
  • Tomcat or Wildfly configuration and management

RDBMS – setup, configuration, SQL development, account management

Excellent written and verbal communication skills when working with other teams, providing feature documentation, and providing product demonstrations to larger audiences
