Summary of duties: Participate in all aspects of enterprise software development, including performance, security, scale, usability, and maintainability. Develop and improve web service resilience by introducing new technologies/tools, scalable solution, proactively and efficiently monitoring service status, with strong awareness of security. Work with the Operational teams to identify root cause & resolve issues and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences. Resolve multiple issues from multiple users, by prioritizing in terms of criticality, which to focus and resolve first. Identify, design, recommend, and implement scalable, efficient solutions to continuously improve applications’ reliability and performance. Simplify, automate and improve our methods to build more efficiency. Build strong relationships with other teams through clear & concise communication, delivery and proven experience. Utilize information technologies including DevOps, Java, Python, Perl, and Cloud based infrastructure, among others.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in the following: Using SQL and corresponding tools to query data; programming using Sybase, Java, Python, Cassandra, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, UNIX, multi-threading, and methodologies including test driven development and object oriented design and programming; and utilizing Agile development methodologies.

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all.
