Summary of Duties: Assist in the management of large, multi-disciplinary project teams including subject matter experts, market practitioners, and technologists. Independently managing discrete workstreams within complex projects with appropriate organization, escalation, and client interaction. Lead project execution with a hands-on role in driving project progress and deliverables. Ensure project success through identification and resolution, escalation, execution of related risks. Develop analytical skills by performing quantitative analyses in support of client engagements. Enhance written and verbal communications skills and synthesizing complex topics in client presentations and pitch materials. Build and deploying subject matter expertise across a range of themes in order to help clients achieve their objectives, including bank balance sheets, capital markets, credit risk management, and sustainability. Execute data analyses with a strong awareness of governance and risk considerations. Drive research into both project and business development-related areas of interest.

Qualifications: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the same required skills. Performing analysis and driving initiatives related to capital markets portfolio support and sustainability metrics; utilizing finance, market, or sustainability concepts to drive thought leadership in support of corporate strategy around sustainability and ESG on behalf of market participants, including investors, clients, and financial institutions; contributing to business development efforts by engaging clients and prospects on BlackRock offerings and services through multiple and consistent touchpoints; leading complex client engagements with multiple internal and external stakeholders across different asset classes; using data analytics and financial models to analyze insurance balance sheets and make recommendations on enhancement and optimization methods.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $140,000 – $147,500. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Employees are currently required to work at least 3 days in the office each week, with the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week; some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
