Summary of duties: Own relationships with client teams, including senior management, to understand their business objectives and needs and help them use Aladdin expertise to achieve their firm’s goals. Manage and engage west coast pension and asset management clients in their usage of Aladdin, BlackRock's risk analytics and portfolio management solution. Serve as extension of the client’s in-house team to build and lead projects and coordinate resources across multiple functional areas and share knowledge relating to Aladdin models, functionality, workflows, and market best-practices. Partner with the client, as well as Aladdin Product Managers, developers, and financial modelers to support client development needs and support with deployment of new models, analytics, and reporting across our broad range of financial products and investment styles. Build strong internal relationships within BlackRock Solutions, and the wider BlackRock globally, in support of the clients.

Qualifications:  Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience as a Relationship Manager, Trade Desk Analyst, Regional Contributions Analyst, or a related role. Employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience as a Relationship Manager, Trade Desk Analyst, Regional Contributions Analyst, or a related role. Three (3) years of experience with: working with order and trade management workflows for asset managers, banks, and treasuries and applying these workflows to global capital markets and economics; utilizing analytics and workflow tools, including JIRA, UNIX, Microsoft Suite, Excel VBA, portfolio risk calculation engines, and pricing and position APIs to investigate client inquiries, enhancements, and current state of settings, capabilities, and product deployments; working with financial instruments, including CDS, interest rate swaps, options, MBS, ABS, and various fixed income securities; using software platforms to perform investment management workflows, and interacting with client Portfolio Managers, Traders, Compliance, and Operations Professionals; communicating and deploying technical and infrastructure changes to clients and working with technology stacks that back up internal trading platforms; and answering client questions regarding fixed income, equity, and derivatives in their portfolios. If qualifying with a Bachelor's degree, must have five (5) years of experience with the aforementioned skills.

For California only the salary range for this position is $136,500 – $140,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
