ITE Portfolio Management – Software Engineer, Associate
Location: Atlanta
The position is in the Portfolio Management Engineering team in Aladdin Engineering. This team is embarking on a new build project to transform a mature PM toolset into an integrated persona-based platform with streamlined user workflows and a high degree of automation and scale. The team works closely with BlackRock portfolio managers as well as helping deliver this to external clients.

- Operate in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and work as part of a global team.
You have:
- 2+ years hands-on experience developing complex enterprise software systems.
- BA/BS in Computer Science from an accredited university
- Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills and time management abilities
- An ability to translate real business problems into technical solutions.
- Knowledge and experience adhering to software development life cycle best practices including test driven development (TDD), unit testing discipline, agile development and CI/CD strategies.
- Strong OO skills and design patterns knowledge and implementation experience using one or more object-oriented languages (e.g. Java, C/C++, Python)
- Solid knowledge on web development and strong exposure to frameworks such as Angular 2+ (preferable), React, typescript.
- Solid knowledge and experience developing and working with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, Sybase)
