Job Title: Associate, Applied Analytics
Location: 50 Hudson Yards New York, NY 10001
Summary of duties: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to incorporate research, data, and analytic solutions into workflows and decisions based on their needs. Prototype tactical solutions and partner with technology departments to evolve tactical solutions into scalable products that can be offered commercially. Design, implement, and support new analytical capabilities with partner teams to address new requirements and enable new opportunities. Four (4) days in office and one (1) day remote per week.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience as a Quantitative Analyst or a related role. Two (2) years of experience with: Python; SQL; demoing software to end users; coding standards and best practices; version control and Git; software development lifecycle; project management and roadmap implementation; and pricing and risk metrics for financial asset classes. One (1) year of experience with: UNIX; UX design; and code reviews.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $135,500 – $152,500. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
