Position Summary

BlackRock is seeking a motivated individual to support the alternative product and platform team within Global Product Solutions for the US Wealth Advisory Business. This cross functional role partners across the firm to commercialize, implement and activate the USWA Alternative product line and develop the long-term vision for USWA clients. The individual will work closely with sales leadership, investment partners, marketing and other groups on business plans, industry dynamics, product prioritization and project management of key initiatives.

This is a multi-faceted role requiring a quick study to develop breadth and depth of both investment products and the USWA business environment. It requires the ability to learn quickly, innovate, communicate, adapt, and manage projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with USWA Alternatives team to support setting team strategy and objectives, driving visibility of and accountability for commercial impact, overseeing strategic initiatives and coordinating connectivity and partnership across the firm

  • Partner with portfolio management, marketing, product specialists, national accounts, training, finance, and strategy teams to align and execute on product priorities, client servicing and distribution goals

  • Partner with sales teams to create sales plans, campaigns, and ongoing support to help sales execute in the field.

  • Build internal and external presentations synthesizing distribution strategy, sales results and industry trends

  • Build and maintain industry knowledge for Alternative Investment products and platforms

  • Conduct data analysis and ongoing monitoring of industry flows, sales, performance, and competitive positioning to inform product focus and distribution effectiveness

  • Facilitate client due diligence of BlackRock’s alternatives product suite

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Must be a team player, with the ability to work independently

  • Ability to manage and complete multiple and simultaneous projects

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

  • Highly motivated and demonstrated track record of working across teams

  • Comprehensive presentation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize information and summarize trends

  • Investment and product knowledge a plus with the desire to learn the alternative investments industry

  • Series 7 and 66 strong preferred
