How You’ll Make an Impact
Deconstruct Complex Business Models: Analyze enterprise-scale applications and apply creative evaluation techniques to unlock high-value, complex deals while adhering to internal risk guidelines.
Navigate High-Stakes Verticals: Confidently underwrite merchants in high-risk lines of business, including travel, ticketing, securities, and gaming.
Quantify & Mitigate Risk: Calculate credit exposure dynamically, tailoring your approach to the specific nuances of each merchant.
Drive Financial Diligence: Dissect P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, applying a deep understanding of accounting principles to assess financial health.
Advise & Influence: Synthesize complex micro and macro risks into clear, balanced recommendations. You will present these insights directly to Senior Management, the Credit Risk Committee, and our partner banks.
Be the Face of Underwriting: Join forces with Sales and Account Management on customer calls, acting as a trusted advisor to our clients.
Enable Next-Gen Payouts: Assess and process applications for our innovative Pay to Card and Pay to Bank solutions.
What We’re Looking For
Proven Expertise: 4+ years of experience in merchant underwriting or a closely related financial analysis role.
Financial Acumen: Expert-level ability to assess diverse business models, analyze financial statements, and identify credit risk exposure.
A "Customer First" Mindset: Excellent communication skills with a knack for delivering creative, commercial solutions without compromising risk standards.
Collaborative Drive: A true champion of our "One Team" culture who builds bridges across cross-functional departments.
Decisive Execution: Strong escalation management skills—you act with urgency, take ownership, and resolve roadblocks effectively.
