Your role
What We NeedCorpay is currently looking to hire a Regulatory Compliance Officer & MLRO (France) within our Corpay Cross Border line of business.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring Corpay’s French operations are fully compliant with local regulatory requirements. You oversight with strategic regulatory advisory responsibilities, supporting senior stakeholders and embedding a strong compliance culture across the business.
You will report directly to the Head of Regulatory Compliance (EMEA) and regularly collaborate with the Global Regulatory Compliance team, Risk, Legal, Product, Operations, and Senior Management.

As a Regulatory Compliance Officer, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment in Paris. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
• Acting as the primary compliance officer for Corpay’s French operations
• Ensuring compliance with French and EU regulatory requirements, including ACPR, AMF, MiFID II, PSD2, AML/CTF regulations, and GDPR
• Maintaining, reviewing, and updating compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to reflect evolving regulatory requirements
• Supporting regulatory reporting obligations and liaising directly with French regulators as required
• Providing compliance input into Board and senior management reporting
• Serving as the appointed MLRO for France, receiving, investigating, and submitting suspicious transaction reports (STRs) to Tracfin where appropriate
• Overseeing AML/CTF monitoring systems and ensuring timely, accurate, and effective reporting
• Conducting AML/CTF risk assessments and ensuring controls remain effective and proportionate
• Acting as the key point of contact for regulatory inspections and audits related to AML/CTF
• Supporting the implementation of group-wide compliance and risk frameworks at the French entity level
• Providing second-line oversight of new products, services, and client onboarding activities in France
• Assisting with due diligence processes for clients, partners, and third-party service providers
• Reviewing, standardizing, and implementing compliance frameworks across acquisitions and business integrations
• Delivering compliance training and awareness sessions to French employees, promoting a strong compliance culture
Qualifications & Skills
• 8+ years of experience in a regulatory compliance role within financial services, payments, fintech, or a regulated institution
• Prior experience acting as, or supporting, an MLRO function in France
• Strong knowledge of French and EU regulatory frameworks, including ACPR, AMF, AML/CTF, MiFID II, PSD2, and GDPR
• Experience interacting with regulators and supporting regulatory inspections and audits
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders on regulatory and compliance matters
• Strong risk assessment, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions
• Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
