Job Description
This Experience Design executive will be responsible for leading our Digital Platform Design team of 100+ Experience and Content Designers. They will be focused on delivering reusable capabilities across our seven platforms of: Authentication & Identity, Connected Finance/Open Banking, Customer Engagement, Customer Acquisition, Document Management, Money Movement, and the Digital Experience Platform/Design System. The work being done will enable U.S. Bank to launch better products more quickly to positively impact the lives of millions of customers, from consumers to small business to Fortune 500 companies.
This visible role will drive the thought leadership in design thinking and human-centered design with senior product, agile and development stakeholders. The ideal leader will motivate, coach and develop a high-performing team with world-class skills to push the boundaries of excellence and quality, while focusing on enterprise reuse. We’re looking for an executive to be a part of our Design Executive Team to drive the strategy behind the entire design organization.

Experience designers consider the why, what, and how of product use to help identify where user needs intersect with business goals across the entire user journey.

- Expert product management and experience design experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 15 or more years of relevant experience
- Effective presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

Strategic Alignment: Expert level knowledge of the importance of collaboration among team members and the ability to enroll stakeholders in communicating and coordinating activities to support the organization's vision and strategies.
Vision Articulation: Understands of the value of articulating an intended business outcome and ability to create and communicate a vision of the organization that motivates others to superior performance.
Business Acumen: Expert level knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
