Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Third Party Risk Analyst (TPRA). Based on interagency (OCC, FRB, FDIC) guidance on Third Party Risk Management and in collaboration with other stakeholders, Third Party Risk Management is directly responsible for providing comprehensive risk oversight, governance and continuous improvement of the organizations Third Party Management end-to-end process. Primary activities will include managing the end-to-end assessment cycle, including significant Third Party (TP) changes, and critical watch reports (CWR). TPRAs also ensure compliance with DORA registry requirements and monitor changes to critical activity populations. The position also works to prevent performance downgrades, particularly unsatisfactory, by identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring accurate reporting.

Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Program execution leading to achieving Service Level Objective (SLO) that ensure the client centric model effectively and proactively manages third party risk.
- Strong partnership and relationship building within RM&C, Operational Risk, Risk & Control Specialist groups, Technology partners and across BLs and BL CRO teams to meet business and company objectives through use of Third Parties.
- Carry out the following responsibilities/duties as a part of day-to-day operations:
- Manage end-to-end assessment cycle for Corporate Directed programs
- Actively manage reassessments and ensure overall portfolio risk remains within appetite (i.e., minimize Key Risk Indicator or other operational metric breaches etc.)
- TP Change Forms – significant changes to assessment
- Critical Watch Report
- TPI Connections
- Exit Strategies
- DORA requirements for registry
- Monitor changes to critical activity population
- Manage potential downgrades to ensure accuracy and opportunity to avoid downgrade
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically more than five years of applicable experience
- Strong relationship building skills and demonstrated success in achieving organizational objectives through partnership and influence
- Able to identify risk and asks thought provoking questions
- Demonstrates strong credible challenge
- In-depth knowledge of Third Party Risk Management
- Self-starter who can quickly learn on the job in a fast-paced environment and who is comfortable working on several concurrent tasks.
- Very Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to research and manage multiple projects/programs and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong proficiency of MS Office suite including Office 365 and associated tools.
- Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
- Considerable understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
- Applicable professional certifications
