The Accounts Receivable Resolution Leader will drive resolutions for collections work for Equifax Workforce Solutions.  This position requires in-depth understanding of collections and accounts receivable processes, and the ability to build and leverage relationships with sales teams and sales leaders to bring about positive resolutions for collections activities escalated by the Equifax collections team. 

What you’ll do

  • Provides support, feedback, and guidance around daily operations and collections activity to the Collections team 

  • Oversee and coordinate collections activities that have been escalated by the collections team to the sales team for resolution

  • Make sure that sales team members are responsive to the collections team, follow up with customers to resolve collections issues, and regularly report status.

  • Escalate issues to sales leaders, as necessary, for assistance in resolving problems if sales team members are not properly engaged.

  • Work with sales leaders, revenue assurance leaders, and billing leaders to track the resolution of billing issues and ensure that invoice corrections are delivered to customers in a timely manner with credits and other adjustments applied appropriately.

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of collections procedures, billing issue resolution processes, and strategic customer relationship management.

  • Provide feedback to accounting leadership on the effectiveness of the collections process.

  • Identify and work on process improvement opportunities.

  • Lead Top 15 Past Due meetings with Finance and Business 

  • Identify trends and root cause of past due issues, make recommendations, and drive strategic resolution 

  • Work closely with C2O/BRM Product Manager to inform the long-term system roadmap

What experience you need 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business related field (or equivalent years of experience) 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate accounts receivable/collections

  • Proven track record of meeting collection targets

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Previous experience leading a team

  • Experience with Tableau or other analytical tools
