As a Global Security Intern, this is a summer internship opportunity to provide you with practical experience, mentorship, and growth opportunities across our security organization. We are seeking outstanding undergraduates for these roles – people who are capable by way of previous coursework, other internship experiences, and personal learning – and who are committed to working with integrity and putting forth their very best. • We are currently considering internship candidates who are pursuing their undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree and have an expected graduation date between May 2025 and May 2026 (rising Juniors or Seniors).

• The internship program begins May 13th, 2024 and ends on August 2nd, 2024.

What you’ll do ​:

Will work directly with a Cybersecurity, Identity Security and/or Engineering teams and be exposed to a variety of security related functions as an intern that could include but not limited to the following activities:

• Engage in incident response related tasks, network and general security tool monitoring, with support from more senior personnel

• Participate in measuring and monitoring system impairments and outages.

• Assist the cloud operations team in resolving system issues.

• Support a global program to identify, exploit, report, and work with partners to remediate vulnerabilities

• Provide recommendations to improve security posture going forward

• Leverage foundational IT/CS knowledge to identify/respond to common attacks through common vectors and methods, with support from senior team members

• Work with both Audit teams, control testing, disaster recovery testing, etc.

• Work closely with development and operations teams assisting in building highly available and cost effective systems.

What experience you need

• Is currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or equivalent discipline with an upcoming graduation date on or before May 2025 or May 2026

• 1-2 years coursework and/or experience in Information Technology and/or Cyber Security

• Extensive experience utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite

• Strong communication skills necessary – ability to explain methodologies and results to non-technical individuals​

What Could Set You Apart

• Coursework and/or experience in cloud technologies (Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Azure)

• Any knowledge of program languages such as Python, Django, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell, Java, C#, Go, Perl (GitHub)

• Experience with Security tools

• Strong analytical, structured problem solving, and decision making abilities

• Ability to work on a team and independently as needed

• Ability to adapt to quickly changing project requirements and feedback
