Reporting to the ACA General Manager, the AVP, ACA Accounts is responsible for maintaining the existing ACA book of business, developing and executing strategies for retaining current direct and indirect clients, and growing these relationships to deliver more overall strategic value to EWS. This AVP is responsible for ensuring executional excellence on key client programs and collaborating with other business units to drive the growth of the ACA business unit. 

What You'll Do:

Managing a team of client experience and account management professionals, this individual will:

  •  Define and execute business strategies that deliver a professional, efficient, innovative and highly valued client experience for existing ACA clients

  • Maintain and help grow the existing ACA book of business through strong leadership of ACA direct accounts and indirect partnerships

  • Oversee strategic relationships with client stakeholders, especially across sales, marketing and product strategy

  • Ensure effective governance and management of ACA client relationships, including periodic business, operational and revenue reviews

  • Lead a team of professionals that interpret contracts and manage contractual obligations, including contract renewal and negotiating changes to contracts and agreements

  • Orchestrate internal resources and partner with colleagues to drive joint innovation and present new offerings to ACA direct and indirect clients

  • Support the onboarding experience of new partnerships and direct clients

  • Establish and execute viable short and long term growth opportunities with partners

  • Measure client satisfaction and develop and report on agreed metrics of client and business success.  

Essential Functions:

  • Enable a team of client managers to accurately identify problems, recognize symptoms, and formulate effective solutions and alternatives

  • Break down organizational barriers/issues and collaborate effectively within a matrix organization

  • Anticipate customer needs and provide market and ‘voice of customer’ data back to Equifax colleagues to enhance product and solution development.

  • Develop and maintain a vertical/market that supports the ACA growth goals, the company vision, budget and long-term strategy, including close collaboration with the AVP of business development 

  • Exercise strong knowledge of items impacting expenses and revenue and ROIs of various activities

  • Identify, recruit, develop, and retain a high performance team of managers and executives 

  • Leverage data, trends and insights to be able to improve the client experience and maximize revenue opportunities

  • Collaborate effectively with Technology and Operations partners and other key stakeholders to ensure integrated technology and product and platform launches.

What Experience You Need:

  • 10+ years of experience in a client facing, strategic sales role; proven sales/solution selling experience, including the ability to diagnose the impact of trends, client data and MBOs and translate that into rapid sales

  • 5-7 years of experience running a sales organization; experience leading senior-level account employees, including an ability to immediately establish credibility and maintain those relationships

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred; experience in lieu of degree may be considered

  • Travel up to 20%

What Could Set You Apart:

  • Experience in the following industries highly preferred: Healthcare, Employer Services

  • Familiarity with ACA (Affordable Care Act) or willingness to learn quickly

  • Strong understanding of large, complex customers and ability to partner and influence the agendas of multiple client partners

  • Experience demonstrating innovation (working knowledge of Equifax products in each business unit a plus)

  • Knowledge of existing and emerging regulatory/compliance requirements, including the ability to use that knowledge to actively drive client retention and satisfaction

  • Superior skills and ability to present and communicate effectively with c-level executives

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills; familiarity/comfort in public speaking

  • Proven negotiation skills

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, demonstrated understanding of key skills across Equifax competencies

  • Excellent planning, organization, multi-tasking, prioritization and meeting facilitation skills

  • Proven experience in driving significant revenue growth with highly complex strategic clients

Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $121,600.00 - 182,400.00 USD Annual. This position is also eligible for our incentive compensation program.
