The Data Contributor Services organization is responsible for the intake and quality of all data within the USIS business unit of Equifax. This Compliance Analyst in the onboarding section of this organization. This role will monitor, research, and respond to Data Contributor onboarding requests. The key responsibilities are to review policies and procedures to ensure FCRA alignment as prescribed by Equifax Legal and Compliance. This includes reviewing policies and their operational impact on Data Quality. This role should be able to analyze large datasets, demonstrate technology savvy, and be knowledgeable of the FCRA regulations and Metro 2 reporting guidelines.
What you will do
Work closely with data contributors and internal stakeholders to provide compliance support during the onboarding process.
Monitor, research, and respond to data contributor inquiries as it relates to the onboarding process.
Provide consultation and support for internal customers (sales, and other teams).
Review and evaluate Data Furnisher policies to ensure alignment with FCRA guidelines provided by Equifax Legal and Compliance
Propose suggestions to improve the effects of policies or procedures
Liaise with stakeholders to determine needs and goals of policies
What experience you need
Experience in regulatory compliance with a financial services company and/or relevant industry certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
Working knowledge of the legal aspects affecting policies
Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Salesforce
Knowledge of FCRA regulations and Metro 2 credit reporting guidelines and requirements
Prior experience in Policy and Procedure Review
