This 12-week Internship Program is a gateway to full-time career paths for current university students. The program provides meaningful projects with direct impact on our business as well as exposure to senior leaders and opportunities to network. Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is a discipline that combines software and systems engineering for building and running large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems. SRE ensures that internal and external services meet or exceed reliability and performance expectations while adhering to Equifax engineering principles.

What you’ll do
Design, implement and maintain services in Google Cloud with monitoring, logging and alerting - from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
Troubleshoot production issues with our Customers & practice sustainable incident response and postmortems.
Be part of an on-call rotation to support production systems.
Build and manage systems, infrastructure and applications through automation.
Write code using programming and/or scripting languages.
Communicate with Operations & Product team members.
What experience you need
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other Technology-related field
Graduation date May 2025 or May 2026
Ability to work on a full-time basis for the entire duration of the internship
What could set you apart
Knowledge in Java or Python or similar programming languages.
Demonstrated interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
Interest in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting complex solutions.
Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.
Experience with algorithms, databases, networks, security, or software design.
Ability to adapt to quickly changing project requirements and continuous feedback.
Familiarity with Agile development practices
