What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and operate intelligent automation applications across the full engineering stack of Equifax’s automation technologies - focusing on AI and ML Google services (ex: Vertex AI, AutoML, CloudDLP, DocAI, using Python coding, and general knowledge of additional automation tools such as OpenText Captiva workflow and classification, Uipath, Camunda, custom .net and JAVA workflows with Oracle databases, Oracle Apex, and Box document management.

• Apply modern software development practices (serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, etc.)

• Design and develop cloud solutions using Dataflow/Apache Beam, BigQuery, PubSub, Spanner, Composer/Airflow, and others.

• Work across teams to integrate our systems with existing internal systems.

• Breakdown work and guide junior devs to enable delivery of large projects and POCs.

• Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to turn business requirements and vision into reality.

• Engage with a tight-knit, globally distributed engineering team.

• Research, create, and develop software applications to extend and improve on Equifax Solutions.

• Manage sole project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on network, or service operations and quality.

• Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to data and information.

• Actively participate in Sprint planning, Sprint Retrospectives, and other team activities.

• UI development (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, Angular and Bootstrap).

What experience you need

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.

• 3+ years recent experience in building and training AI/ML models, using NLP, GenAI, etc.

• 5+ years experience writing, debugging, and troubleshooting code in Python.

• 5+ years experience with Cloud technology: GCP, AWS, or Azure.

• 5+ years experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions from ideation to prod (design, work breakdown, develop, deliver).

• Experience with solutions within Equifax’s automation tech stack: Google AI services (ex: Vertex AI, AutoML, CloudDLP, DocAI), OpenText Captiva workflow and classification, Uipath, Camunda, Python, custom .net and JAVA workflows with Oracle databases, Oracle Apex, and Box document management.

• Experience with backend technologies such as JAVA/J2EE and Microservices, mainstream Java, SpringBoot, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, .NET are preferred.

• Developing with modern JDK (v1.7+) is preferred.

• Automated Testing: JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, SoapUI.

• Experience with source code control management systems (e.g. SVN/Git, Github) and build tools like Maven & Gradle.

• Experience with Relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL).
