The Sales Incentive Compensation Analyst is responsible for the administration of various sales, commission, and production incentive plans for Equifax businesses. These businesses are of ‘high’ complexity and volume/size. This position also provides reporting to individual sales team members, sales management, accounting and other members of the Incentive Compensation team.
Equifax uses Xactly Sales Performance Management functionality including the Incent module to support North American sales incentive plan administration and calculations.
What you'll do:
Implement and administer various sales plans by performing quarterly and monthly incentive calculations utilizing various revenue and compensation system data resources. Process includes extensive review of new business revenue, sales dispute resolution with managers, decision making and product assessment to arrive at undetermined conclusions
Provide subject matter expertise on sales compensation plan administration
Collect data from a variety of sources, including Sales Operations, Billing and Accounting, analyze data and determine usage for purposes of incentive calculation
Research complex payment discrepancies, resolve issues and communicate to sales organization on matters such as sales plan interpretation, quota assignment and compliance with guidelines
Assist in the implementation and administration of incentive compensation policies and programs. Ability to comprehend and apply broad company policies to individualized compensation issues
Critical role in incentive database implementation (ICM) and maintenance along with future updates which need to be made for the legacy platform. This includes the design, modeling, and testing of incentive plan results within the system
Provide analytical and consulting support to Sales Operations and Sales Support regarding incentive policies, processes and guidelines
Work in conjunction with Payroll to research payment issues.
Develop educational resources and communication plans for sales compensation, and deliver scalable training solutions to Sales and cross-functional teams
Provide feedback to Compensation Management and HR concerning observations regarding effectiveness of sales plan design with respect to intent so that plan changes and enhancements can occur
Provide value-added and specialized sales compensation reporting to Sales Operations and Sales Managers including expense management and quota attainment/performance
Conduct ad-hoc analysis and modeling when appropriate
Develop guidelines, processes and toolkits ensuring consistency in processes managing diverse sales compensation plans
What experience you need:
Bachelor's Degree
4+ years’ experience working in an Incentive Compensation role
What could set you apart:
Prior experience with Xactly Incent implementation and/or day to day administration is preferable
Proficient with spreadsheets (formulas, Vlookups, customizing Charts / Graphs, etc.)
Proven ability to interact and influence a wide variety of audiences, levels and roles inside and outside of business
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong quantitative and analytical background
You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders.
Proven organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
