The Salesforce Business Analyst plays a crucial role in translating vision and roadmap into actionable deliverables enhancing stakeholder & customer value. He/She will lead strategic initiatives across multiple teams throughout the lead-to-cash ecosystem optimizing & automating experiences. This position requires a deep understanding of Salesforce functionalities and the ability to manage a backlog. The Salesforce Business Analyst must navigate the complexities of a highly matrixed environment, ensuring that both high-level strategies and granular details are addressed. This role is pivotal in gathering insights from business subject matter experts (SMEs) to inform development and prioritization. The Business Analyst will leverage their extensive knowledge of Salesforce and relevant technologies to influence leadership & various collaborators including technology, finance, sales, and operations teams. The role demands a passion for innovation and a commitment to building meaningful relationships within the squad and across the organization.
What you'll do:
- Acts as the liaison between Business Stakeholders and the Salesforce Development & Technology teams, ensuring that Salesforce solutions including service/sales automation and customer engagement features align with business objectives and deliver maximum value.
- Become a subject matter expert in Workforce Solutions business applications, processes, data relationships, and integrations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related initiatives and feature development, including Service & Sales Cloud capabilities
- Gather, prioritize, and document business requirements in the form of Process flows and requirements that result in user stories and acceptance criteria
- Create, manage, and lead User Acceptance Testing sessions with Business Users.
- Manage and maintain a well-groomed product backlog for the Salesforce platform, including marketing automation features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Operations, and IT to define solutions that meet business needs
- Work closely with Salesforce administrators, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Ensure the integrity, scalability, and performance of the Salesforce platform across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
- Monitor and measure the impact of released features to optimize business value
- Stay updated with Salesforce releases, capabilities, and best practices to continuously improve the platform
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role with hands-on experience in Salesforce
What will set you apart:
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
- Demonstrated expertise in requirements analysis, documentation, and testing methodologies..
- Solid experience with Aha, Jira, Google Suite, Smartsheet, LucidChart,
- Writing SQL queries is a significant plus.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Product Owner/Manager credential) are a strong plus
