We are looking for a Cloud Automation Engineer to join our Certified Pipeline engineering team in Alpharetta, GA. The Certified Pipeline team designs and builds delivery systems for secured infrastructure as code globally at Equifax into multiple public cloud providers. This is a key role on a high visibility team that is revolutionizing how Equifax delivers systems and software. The work we do is making Equifax a better place to work! We’re a tight-knit group of like-minded individuals with a wide variety of technical backgrounds and experience ranging from software engineering to enterprise architecture. We believe everything should be automated and everything can be done with code.

To adhere to our corporate location policies, this resource will be required to be local to the surrounding Atlanta, GA . You are required to adhere to our Return To Office (RTO) / weekly onsite requirements (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

What you will do

• Implement complex infrastructure products through engineering and automation that enables configuration and service management

• Work to implement & support short and long-term roadmaps for their respective domains

• Participate in and provide feedback on systems engineering and design

• Provide input on the future execution of the delivery and management of environments with a strong emphasis on automation, security, performance, scalability and resiliency

• Full alignment with the Engineering Handbook guidelines and practices.

• Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred

What experience you need

• BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience required; Master’s Degree preferred; AI/ML coursework preferred

• 5-7 years of related experience

• Certification in cloud or automation preferred

• Experience in one or more cloud environments (GCP preferred)

• Experience using one or more automation languages (Python,PowerShell, Go)

• Experience with programming languages (Java, C#, javascript) preferred

• Solid understanding of networking

• Experience with one or more other technologies (database, Big Data, AI, etc)

• Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred

• IT Network Management - Creates, troubleshoots, and implements network configuration for the tooling; Understands, captures, and interprets network logs
