The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Specialist for the Workforce Solutions business unit of Equifax will be a key leader, responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and maintenance of Workforce Solutions' Enterprise-wide Risk Management (ERM) framework. This role involves providing strategic oversight for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the business unit’s long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep background in risk management principles, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to communicate complex risk information to all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week.
This role reports to our office in Saint Louis, MO (Lackland or Clayton).
This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.
This is a direct-hire role and is not open to C2C or vendors.
What you will do
The ERM specialist is responsible for developing tools, practices, and policies to identify, measure, monitor and improve the risk posture for Workforce Solutions
Leverages risk insights to promote and ensure a consistent and robust approach to risk management across the enterprise
Conduct quantitative and qualitative risk assessments to determine the potential impact and likelihood of identified risks
Benchmarks other technology and non-technology company risk programs, leveraging and implementing appropriate best practices
Monitor the effectiveness of risk management activities and report on key risk indicators (KRIs)
Ensures the organization's risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, rating agency standards, and strategic imperatives of the organization
Establishes collaborative relationships with key business owners to assist to identify, categorize, and prioritize key enterprise risks
Serve as workforce solutions security compliance key contact and escalation point for efforts requiring engineering engagement to reduce risk
Prepare and present comprehensive risk reports to senior leadership
Champion and promote a culture of risk awareness and accountability throughout the organization
Manage and facilitate objectives and key results (OKR) for the workforce solutions security team
Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks
What experience you need
Bachelor’s degree required with 7+ years of relevant and progressive experience within financial services, technology or regulatory agency
5+ years of experience and knowledge in building and managing ERM Frameworks
Broad understanding of the inter-dependency between operational, technological, strategic and reputational risks as well as general compliance standards
Excellent collaboration and communications skills with experience influencing, communicating and driving change through cross-functional groups including the ability to diplomatically build consensus across disparate views
Proven experience presenting to executive leadership on ERM updates and findings
Strong independent judgement yet work effectively with others in a fast paced and dynamic environment with high degree of accuracy
Ability to prioritize deliverables efficiently and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously to drive projects to completion timely
