About the Role:
Federal Reserve Financial Services has an immediate opening for a Technical Analyst – Experienced/Senior (based on experience).This role provides testing support for our external customers across an array of testing campaigns, ensuring the safety and integrity of the service. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships directly with our customers and provide outstanding service.
Key Activities:
Oversee customer application testing initiatives involving the Fedwire Funds and Fedwire Securities services, for those customers who access Fedwire services via FedLine Direct (FLD) and/or FedLine Advantage (FLA) channels
Direct testing activities (Depository Institution tests, Operational Readiness Tests, or special testing campaigns), broker complex relationships with customers, and troubleshoot issues. Accountable for testing communication and issue escalation.
Actively engage our customers (primarily external) to understand their emerging testing needs. Represent the Voice of the Customer (VOC) for product development.
Develop test strategies and leverage standard and consistent approaches for testing
Oversee the Depository Institution Testing environment (DIT) and escalate issues and concerns
Provide Saturday (pre-production) support for customers performing Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) and support for customers performing regular testing in our DIT environment
Mentor junior staff and promote a learning culture
Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities
Qualifications:
Typically requires at least 3-6 years of relevant experience
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience is required based on job level
Previous experience working in Financial Services or the Banking industry
Prior work experience supporting testing initiatives
Experience with experiential (user) testing and working with external parties (DIs, vendors, etc.)
Understanding of payments systems or systems with equivalent complexity required
Understanding of integration software (messaging, file, or API) accompanied with an inquisitive and persistent mindset required to successfully troubleshoot issues
Prior experience working with Kanban for managing workflow as well as exposure to Agile methodologies desired
Knowledge of one or more of the key support tools and applications is highly preferred (I.e. BMC Patrol, LCD, Lighthouse, Funds or Securities applications)

*This position is a hybrid role and will be subject to be onsite at an FRB location.
This position has additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. These additional screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and can take up to a couple of months to be completed. You can begin work before the screening is completed; however, continued employment is contingent on acceptable screening results. The areas screened may include education/employment verification, criminal history, credit history, and reference checks.
