Federal Reserve Bank of ChicagoThe System Leadership Initiative (SLI) is a small team that supports leadership development programming and events including virtual and in person leadership conferences, experiential development opportunities, and speaking engagements. In this role you will handle key communications supporting our (Federal Reserve System) FRS leaders. You will report the Manager of the team and will have no direct reports.

The Leadership Development Analyst assists with leadership development program activities and events. This includes leadership conferences, experiential development opportunities, and speaking engagements. Level of work is considered intermediate and staff must be able to work under general supervision. You will report to the Manager and have no direct reports.

Your Responsibilities:

Program Management

  • Draft and manage content, communications, and program materials for multiple audiences including program participants, internal leaders and external speakers and partners
  • Be the central contact and coordinator of recurring meetings and engagements for program participants
  • Collaborate with program leads to support in development and execution
  • Help with leadership development program planning
  • Provide performance reports to leadership and stakeholders
  • Support technology needs and development for the team including, but not limited to video production, event websites/registration, talent development offerings, and virtual collaboration sites

Event Planning

  • Support the execution of SLI events, both virtually and in person, by coordinating with team members
  • Assist in drafting and building project plans to ensure leadership development activities are completed on time, within budget and optimum quality
  • Help with tracking of event expenses, invoices, contracts, and partner with internal team members
  • You will provide support for content and event design

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills with a keen eye for details
  • Project planning and management, including ability to support learning events
  • Ability to work independently
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to think critically
  • Ability to execute accurate and polish work
  • Team player who excels in collaborative team environment
  • Customer service/customer relations orientation
  • Experienced in relationship building and influence
  • Experience in Microsoft Teams, Excel, SharePoint Online
