ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:


We offer paid internships for many majors, with fulfilling work and opportunities to grow. To help launch your career, we provide dedicated staff mentors. You’ll also learn from senior leaders and industry experts. As part of the Federal Reserve System, you’ll be connected to a professional network that spans the nation. The projected start date is June 2024, and you will be based in the Dallas office.

ABOUT YOUR TEAM:

The FRB Dallas Business Continuity and Resiliency team supports the Bank’s mission to maintain operations, provide services and support the mission. The team provides both technology and operational planning as well as crisis management support to the district and each office. Special projects and engagement will also align with information technology and information security disciplines.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Resiliency Intern will assist with administrative tasks, plans, tests, exercises, meetings, equipment and special projects. The effort will include engagement with various levels of leadership across the organization through interpersonal and virtual collaboration. In addition, the intern will be afforded the creative opportunity to design and present their work to multiple audiences, collect feedback and integrate ideas to support their assignments and projects.

WHAT YOU BRING:

This position is available to any college student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, with preference given to those majoring in Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Risk Management. If not enrolled in secondary education, equivalent experience from a related industry and discipline is required.

  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office software.
  • Must be comfortable interviewing subject matter experts on specific subjects.
  • Ability to research and gather detailed data and document findings.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks & requirements to meet project goals.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills.
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred.

WORK HOURS:

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with some flexibility. Additional hours may be required.
