What we do:

Working with a team of economists and research analysts, the Data Analytics Specialist will help conduct analyses and prepare reports for policy and research projects.

Your Role as a Data Analytics Specialist:

  • Assist economists and senior staff in their Bank policy work. You will: use statistical, econometric, and other software packages to manage data; perform analyses and model estimation and simulations; prepare charts and tables; create and maintain spreadsheets; provide assistance in preparing memos and presentations; maintain the integrity of the programs used to produce these products.

  • Assist economists and senior staff in their long-term research. You will: use statistical, econometric, and other software packages; perform analyses and model estimation and simulations; download and assemble data; prepare charts and tables; create and maintain spreadsheets; maintain the integrity of the programs used to produce these products; help with writing and proofreading reports and articles.

  • Provide support to the production of reports to carry out the Bank`s and Research Group`s goals, and the performance of other tasks to accomplish the Bank`s and Research Group`s goals.

What we are looking for:

  • Training, experience, and deep interest in Economics, Econometrics, and Data Analytics.

  • Training and experience in Mathematics, Statistics, computer programming or a related field will be considered a plus.

  • Experience in data analysis using the statistical package Stata.

  • Experience in other statistical software (e.g., R, Matlab, Julia, SAS), or other computer programming experience (e.g., Java, C++, Python) will be considered a plus.

  • Experience designing surveys questionnaires, fielding surveys or field experiments, and/or working with survey data will be considered a plus.

  • Work cooperatively in a team environment.

Salary Range: $116500-158500 / year
