The Corporate Group is dedicated to being a trusted, strategic business partner to clients Bank wide. As part of the Corporate Group, the Business and Finance Partners' (BFP) primary objective is to partner with teams across the Bank to support their strategic and financial management requirements.

Reporting to the Business and Finance Partner Director, you will be the central point of contact responsible for developing a program to support the Bank’s Position Management Process, develop insightful staffing monitoring analytics and reporting as well as interfacing with internal and external stakeholders. You will closely partner with People & Engagement to communicate fact-based observations and provide independent analysis to drive and influence strategic decision making. You will be responsible for owning the end-to-end staffing monitoring process, introduce and maintain a strong internal control environment, and develop and lead stakeholder training. This role requires analytical and transactional skills as well as ability to provide consultative guidance to an array of stakeholders across the Bank and the Federal Reserve System.

Your role as Position Management Business Finance Partner:

This role will require you to become a subject matter expert as it relates to this initiative including leading the collaboration with multiple stakeholders within the Business Finance Partners, People & Engagement, the Bank, and across the Federal Reserve System. We are looking for someone with strong strategic, analytical, and business acumen skills, with the ability to pivot from tactical planning to the big picture focus. You will be a champion of collaboration within a matrixed organization, and value diversity, equity, and inclusion. You will look for on-going process improvement and challenge the status quo.

  • Act as a trusted partner to all related constituents and provide advisory services and support.
  • Develop analyses and support forming of recommendations for decision making by the Bank's senior leadership to allocate resources, prioritize investments, and identify trade-offs.
  • Author clear, concise executive level analytics and impactful presentations.
  • Be an active contributor to the Bank and System-wide meetings, task forces, workgroups, etc., pertaining to relevant issues, including conducting research, providing information, and preparing formal reports and recommendations for multiple levels of audiences.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement operational improvements and business process re-engineering to enhance team’s performance, manage risk, and benchmark to industry best practices.

What we are looking for:

  • Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, forecast, and plan effectively.
  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to lead engagement across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal management direction and oversight.
  • Ability to adapt to leadership styles and communicate clearly and confidently across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in working with different systems to retrieve, synthesize, and analyze data.
  • Working knowledge of Workday and Workday Adaptive is preferred.
  • Knowledge and application of applying control procedures.

Salary Range: $160000 - $200000 / year
