About the Role:

The role is responsible for continuously communicating with our stakeholders and representing their needs through design, construction and commissioning. The Owner’s Representative will be responsible for acting as the advocate for the Bank’s stakeholders throughout the design and construction process to effectively deliver a built environment that contributes to the successful delivery of Banking Services across the district and the system. The Owner’s Representative will ensure the Bank’s environment serves the various needs of all building stakeholders with best-in-class quality and efficiency.

You Will:

  • Work with the project team to prepare appropriate proposals and presentation materials

  • Present project proposals and status updates to senior level Bank Management

  • Serve as the onsite Owners Representative and direct contact for MSA general contractors, designers, and other vendors throughout the life of the project

  • Provide interpretation and enforcement of contract documents and agreements

  • Responsible for the creation and coordination of all contract documents initiated by the Bank throughout the life of the project

  • Participate in the proposal selection process which includes recommending consultants and contractors for construction projects

  • Work with the project management team to maintain thorough documentation of project design and construction activities, providing periodic status reports for both design and construction

  • Perform job walks on a regular basis to ensure project deliverables adhere to project scope, Design Guidelines, security standards, and building codes

You Have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or Interior Design is preferred

  • 5 years of work related experience

  • Registered as an electrical engineer in the State of Texas is a plus

  • Prior experience in internal renovation projects for a general office building is a plus

  • Knowledge of construction building codes and renovation techniques to oversee consultants and contractors

  • Skill in developing solutions using design principles and applying these solutions in operational problems

  • Manage quality control methods and procedures

  • Experience in using REVIT or AutoCAD and MS Project is a plus

  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements

Notes:

This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate's qualifications as determined by the department.

This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite 3-5 days out of the we at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
