Onsite Work Expectations:
The Bank believes in flexibility to balance the demands of work and life while also recognizing the necessity of connecting and collaborating with our colleagues in person. Onsite work is an essential function of this position, and you are required to be onsite according to the schedule set by your management.

The Benefits Plan Advisor is responsible for highly visible and sensitive matters related to health and welfare benefits programs for the system. Typical work would include meeting with senior-level Officers for onboarding upon hire/entry into role and retirement planning. Other highly sensitive health and welfare matters involving key relationships management with Reserve Bank teams and senior stakeholders are overseen by this role. While this is a high-touch role needing individual and case-by-case attention, there is also an expectation to build scale, and focus on continuity planning for the broader team as appropriate.

  • Serves as expert resource to those accountable for vendor management responsibilities for System-wide benefits programs.

  • Provide high-touch counseling to senior leaders on benefits onboarding, executive benefit plans and retirement planning.

  • Maintains expert knowledge of and certifications in legal, regulatory, plan compliance and changes for System benefits.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years equivalent experience preferred

Experience: Eight + years of experience required or equivalent years of experience.
