About the Opportunity

The Enterprise Support Office (ESO) Service Desk has an immediate opening for an Advanced Technical Analyst, reporting to ESO Operations Leadership.

You will be responsible for researching and analyzing technical and data problems of varying complexity to develop recommendations and solutions related to technical operations. You will provide guidance in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective processes and procedures that meet organizational requirements. You will also participate in cross-functional teams to address technical and systems issues.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform complex analyses of technology-related information to troubleshoot and resolve major and critical technical business issues

  • Research and analyze technical data and problems of varying complexity to develop effective recommendations

  • Determine best practices and suggest improvements to current practices

  • Resolve technical issues and data inconsistencies

  • Implement sustainable technology-based solutions

  • Conduct security reviews and analyze application configurations for essential business needs

  • Monitor and audit procedural and legal compliance measures

  • Provide technical direction, training, and support in the completion of complex project

  • Develop and design test plans and testing strategies to ensure data and system integrity

  • Identify and document audit requirements

  • Plan and execute solutions, providing consultation to clients, colleagues, and management

  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to management on the design, development, and implementation of functional applications

  • Direct, coordinate, and provide leadership support to cross-functional team initiatives and technology-based projects

  • Participate in cross-functional linked teams to address technical or systems issues

  • Lead development and design of testing strategies

  • Ensure ongoing integrity, efficiency, and compliance of business operations in alignment with established standards and objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (required)

  • Master's degree preferred

  • 9+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Broad and deep technical knowledge of the principles of data collection and analysis

  • Strong understanding of business requirements and process improvement criteria

  • Expertise in performance metrics review techniques

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with various online applications as needed for the role

  • Acute analytical and technical ability

  • Acute attention to detail with a high level of data integrity and accuracy

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise information and/or instruction to key stakeholders

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders including Federal Reserve System staff

  • Strong project management and leadership capabilities

  • The hiring range for this role is $138,500 to $152,000 annually. Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
