About the role:.
We are looking for a highly skilled Techno-Functional SME specializing in Fund Accounting Products, specifically Investran and Invest One and Capital market domain. This role requires a unique blend of technical architecture knowledge and functional expertise in capital markets, with a focus on solutioning and client interaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API integrations, cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS), databases (Oracle, SQL Server etc), and a deep understanding of capital market domain, fund accounting processes and general ledger systems. The role involves client-facing responsibilities and may require travelling to different regions. The candidate may not be hands-on in technical areas but must understand and adopt the latest technologies in the market and provide solutions accordingly for implementations. The split between technical and functional expertise would be approximately 30% and 70% respectively.

What you will be doing:
Solution Design & Implementation:
- Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design tailored solutions using Investran, Invest One and other Backoffice systems
- Develop solution architectures that integrate seamlessly with existing systems, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Propose and implement technical solutions involving API integrations, cloud infrastructure (especially Azure), and database management to meet client needs.
- Understand the requirements in detail and collaborate with the Tech Lead on estimations.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical leadership in the design, development, and implementation of fund accounting solutions.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of solutions by conducting detailed technical assessments and identifying potential integration challenges.
- Should be conversant with the latest trends in technology (Azure, SaaS etc) and should be able to adopt them for solutioning.
- Experience with migrating applications from one platform to another would be good to have but not necessary.
- Good to have knowledge on Snowflake Integration.
- Guide the development teams on best practices related to architecture, code, and infrastructure.
Functional Knowledge:
- Leverage deep functional knowledge in capital markets, particularly in the fund accounting space, to drive solution effectiveness.
- Provide expertise in fund accounting processes, including general ledger systems, ensuring solutions align with industry standards and client expectations.
- Should be able to engage with clients to understand their BAU and propose solutions accordingly (Invest One or Investran or both) and/or workarounds.
Client Interaction:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding technical and functional aspects of the fund accounting products.
- Conduct workshops, presentations, and training sessions to demonstrate product capabilities and solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business objectives and aligning solutions to meet these objectives.
Product Agnostic Approach:
- Employ a product-agnostic approach, leveraging expertise across multiple fund accounting products to provide the best possible solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to offer innovative solutions that improve client outcomes.
- Travel & Flexibility:
- Be prepared to travel to client sites across different regions as required to support project delivery and client engagement activities.
- Adapt to different time zones and work environments to meet client and project demands.
What you will need:
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a techno-functional role, preferably in capital markets or financial services.
- Proven experience with fund accounting products, specifically Investran and Invest One.
- Strong experience in API integrations, cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred), and database management.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in architecture design and solutioning with a strong understanding of software development methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure, and related technologies.
- Knowledge of database technologies and integration patterns.
Functional Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of capital markets, fund accounting processes, and general ledger systems.
- Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent client-facing skills with a proven ability to interact and communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and critically.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
