FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Programmer Analyst Specialist in Jacksonville, FL to design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards. Provide application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project. Additionally, will develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications. Maintain, test, and integrate application components. Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Also ensure systems improvements are successfully implemented. Demonstrate an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry. Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product designs. Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation. Suggest technical alternatives and improves/streamlines processes and systems. Complete project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations. Conduct planning, analysis and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks. Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs build recommendations. Provide leadership and guidance to other technical professionals. Be a regular full-time employee of the Petitioner, holding a normal position within our internal organization, and will be supervised and controlled by a manager.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: maintaining, testing, and integrating application components; making recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code; ensuring systems improvements are successfully implemented; analyzing requirements and translate business requirements into product designs; writing technical specifications and other forms of documentation; suggesting technical alternatives and improves/streamlines processes and systems; and participating in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs build recommendations.; In the alternative, the employer will accept three (3) years of study toward a Bachelor’s degree in one of the above-listed fields and two (2) years of information technology experience to satisfy the Bachelor’s degree requirement.
