About the team

FIS’ Banking Solutions segment serves community, regional, and global banks, credit unions and commercial lenders, government institutions, corporations, and more. Its solutions allow our clients to borrow, save, pay and invest, and they range across core processing, digital channels, card and loyalty, fraud and risk management, small business and corporate treasury, wealth and retirement, back office, and more.

The Commercial Services & Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) group, are a highly talented and dedicated team, delivering products and services across FIS’ Banking & Payments suite. Primary solutions include back-office and call centre support, production of cards, statements and print work, and outsourcing of key operations processes for our clients.

What you will be doing

As the VP Product and Solutions, you will be an expert in this field, with a vision for the products and services within your group. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact for our clients, helping them to deliver seamless services to their customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• You will be the owner of the products, solutions and service offering. Responsible for the strategy, development and feature release as well as ensuring the product operates at highest levels of service quality
• Ownership of the products and product roadmap and understand how new offerings/enhancements will impact financials and be received in the market
• Work across the broader Product & Solutions network to integrate priority product features, align on capital investments, and publish integrated product roadmaps
• Responsible for building products and enhancements and working closely with development and professional services team to deploy
• Market analysis, ensuring FIS’ offerings are best in-class and meeting client’s requirements
• Provide strategic deal support and input to sales moving deals through the qualified pipeline. Also, ensuring that sales targets aligned with the market opportunity

• An expert in Banking, Payments and Fintech, with a product lens, and general management skillset
• Highly analytical mindset, and able to translate analytics and market intelligence into business strategy and revenue opportunity
• In-depth knowledge of financials and ability to describe actions being taken to drive growth and increase profitability over near and long-term
• Talent Management skillset, mentoring team, and developing talent potential
• Product ownership, roadmap, priority setting
