About this role:
Performs high-speed, high-volume production in an inserting environment.
Work Schedule: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with mandatory overtime during peak times (Normally around the first of the month).
What you will be doing:
Perform high-speed, high-volume production tasks such as inserting to process statements and book product for our clients.
Cross training to take place in binding and postal metering areas within the department.
Set up equipment, load materials, clear jams, and address other simple malfunctions as needed.
Maintain productivity on all machines and deliver quality products while meeting all production deadlines.
Follow company operational procedures and policies for inserting to produce accurate and quality work in a timely manner.
Pay close attention to detail when inserting client files according to client-specific set-up instructions.
Complete and maintain operator reports and logs, including output and productivity.
Perform maintenance and make adjustments to the system as needed.
Train and assist less-experienced operators.
Interact with various departments such as Quality Assurance and Presort Production to help resolve production problems.
Handle specialty tasks.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
What you bring:
1+ years of experience in a production environment
Mechanically inclined with an understanding of “moving parts”/equipment
Proficient in the use of basic office equipment and applications specific to the function
Strong attention to detail
Clear, tactful, and constructive verbal and written communication skills
Data entry skills
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform occasional lifting, standing, walking, and bending
Ability to operate IBML and NCR scanning equipment
Flexibility with schedule, including the ability to work weekends and some holidays
Bonus if you have:
