About the role:
FIS Capital Markets is looking for a candidate as a Japan based Sales Solution Consultant with a post trade processing background across securities and derivatives. You will be part of an established team of successful Sales Solutions Consultants to support FIS’s market leading post trade solutions across securities and derivatives.
As a Sales Solution Consultant within FIS’s Sales Engineering Group, you’ll utilize your in-depth industry and product knowledge to help our clients/prospects, and Sales teams uncover requirements and recommend solutions. This role places you as an integral part of the FIS solutions ecosystem. Providing our internal and external clients subject matter expertise and support. Your unique expertise will help us advance the way the world pays, banks and invests, while you advance your own career with a growing, global organization.
What you will be doing:
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include consulting with our clients/prospects to uncover and identify functionality gaps that FIS can help a firm overcome.
Support our internal stakeholders and partners with industry insights, account profiling, and go-to-market ideas that monetize your solution.
You will always have something different to do! This includes but not limited to; RFP/RFI responses, solutions demonstrations, presentations, account profiling with our Sales partners to help them generate pipeline opportunities, go-to-market material generation (including both written and video), trade show attendance, internal training of our Sales Teams.
What you will need:
Relevant professional experience within post-trade operations, Software Vendor, or consultancy firm
In-depth securities and derivatives post-trade processing and lifecycle knowledge
Ability to present complex ideas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on presenting and selling
Entrepreneurial mindset and drive
Sales acumen
Desire to help shape business strategy and growth
