About the role:
As the job is within the R&D team, it focuses primarily on new features with a strong emphasis on code quality.
What you will be doing:
• Analyze and translate business requirements into product designs.
• Create and modify program logic for new applications.
• Code, test, debug, and document software applications.
• Ensure successful implementation of system improvements.
• Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation.
• Provide leadership and/or guidance to other technical professionals when needed.
What you will need:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
• Approximately 5 years of application development experience.
• Proficiency in Java (JDK 1.8/1.7), JEE, XML, XSD, and Maven.
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, as well as unit tests, out-of-container tests, integration tests, and selenium-based tests.
• Knowledge of WebSphere.
• Familiarity with Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of WebLogic or JBoss is an asset.
• Good problem-solving, teamwork, and time management skills.
• Payment expertise, such as SEPA or/and SCT Instant Payments, is an asset.
• Strong command of English.
