About the team:
At FIS Cleared Derivatives, we provide mission-critical software and services to institutions across the derivatives industry worldwide. As part of the Capital Markets Division of FIS, Cleared Derivatives addresses the needs of global sell-side and buy-side clients with the industry leading software solutions and services for post-trade processing of listed derivative (ETDs) and cleared OTC instruments.
What you will be doing:
- Define and lead the architecture initiatives on the migration path from current to future state
- Foster enablement of engineering excellence through modern practices and transformation
- Champion the introduction of new architecture assets that have an impact across the entire enterprise, with a view to maximizing reusability, flexibility, and maintainability
- Communicate strategic technological plans and roadmaps
- Solve identified architectural risks and conduct ‘in-flight’ correction where existing architectures fail
What you will need:
- Strong analytical, statistical and problem solving skills
- Cloud architecture and technology expertise
- Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
- Collaborate with SRE and Service teams on client needs
- Oriented toward action, driven to achieve positive outcomes, and improve iteratively
Added Bonus if you have:
- AWS, Azure, Google cloud architecture experience leveraging API gateways, Kubernetes, serverless, RDS, MSK or Kinesis
- SpringBoot microservices, stream-based processing pipelines, micro front-end architecture
- Ability to lead technical and design discussions with customer IT executives
