About the role:
This position is responsible for the analysis and execution of application integration initiatives in support of the development of integrated solution ecosystems for Capital Markets. This position is responsible for gathering requirements from product management and development leaders, defining system mappings, transformations and integration design, and ensuring successful rollouts through close collaboration with engineering, professional services, and support.

About the team:

The Capital Markets Solution Ecosystem team is responsible for the design, build and delivery of integrated solutions tailored to major market segments of Capital Markets, both buy and sell side. The team builds digital connectors between internal products as well as third party partner solutions using modern integration standards and best practices. In addition, the team is responsible for driving the data strategy that underpins the solution ecosystems to streamline data organization and delivery, thereby enabling consolidated reporting and AI use cases.


What you will be doing:

• Translate strategic business goals into defined product development initiatives

• Breakdown product development initiatives into manageable work efforts for development teams

• Interact with Product Managers, Product Owners, Software Engineers, Quality Assurance and Scrum Masters to guide product delivery of integrations.

• Define the detailed design of the integrations within assigned solution ecosystems, including source and target endpoints, workflows, data mappings and exception handling.

• Provide clear direction and success criteria to development teams

• Prepare accurate and detailed business requirement documents and functional specifications

• Build relationships with clients and validate development initiatives based on client and business line solution leader feedback received

• Stay up to date on industry topics and identify, research, and validate new features within the market

• Provide input and collaborate with stakeholders on the definition of the roadmap for specific client types. Help product owners to prioritize the product and release backlogs

• Support product owner in providing the content for Product Documentation, Training Materials and Release notes

• Interact with key stakeholders to understand, validate, document and prioritize new product features and requests

• Provide status and progress updates on product development initiatives


What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study, or equivalent of education experience

• Experience and knowledge of capital markets is required, particularly in areas such as corporate actions / market data, portfolio accounting / operations, trade / security processing, private equity operations/technology.

• Experience designing and/or developing system integrations using EAI tools such as Adeptia, MuleSoft, Informatica, etc.

• Ability to multitask and work on multiple assignments simultaneously

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

• Ability to think creatively and problem solve

• Ability to analyze and document complex business processes

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $101,480.00 - $170,470.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
