What you will be doing
This position is for Trust Accounting (Reliance Trust): You will be responsible for processing and review, working on multiple processes with critical deliverables, work on transition business, Open to work in shifts to cover client requirements.
What you bring:
Knowledge / Experience
- Min 5 years of experience on Reconciliation/ investment Accounting/ Trust Accounting/ Fund Accounting.
- Strong understanding of financial products like Bonds, Mutual Funds, SWAPS, Equities etc.
- Knowledge of Reconciliation and reporting is must. Good to have knowledge on Trade Settlements lifecycle, Corporate actions and Accruals.
- Hands on experience around business transitions and required documentation will have added advantage.
- Candidate should have exposure around audits (internal and external) and strong understanding around Risk and Control framework.
- Establish strong relationship with onshore counterparts and should be capable of handling Onshore Queries and Issues.
- Working closely with the team to identify process needs, putting strong controls in place, and identify the gaps in process. Also ensure that all SLA’s are met.
- Raise any issues related to process, people and others to line management on urgent basis with possible solution.
- Should be very active who can discover out the opportunities in existing business by gaining efficiencies, Automating the processes
- Candidate should be in position to manage the team in absence of manager.
- Working closely with the team to identify process needs, putting strong controls in place, reviewing work and reviewing process related documentations on timely basis.
- Good to have knowledge of different MIS which are created and shared with upper management for analysis.
Skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skill.
- Strong knowledge of Capital Market and different securities in financial domain.
- Strong desktop computing skills MS Office.
- Prior experience in knowledge transition is essential
- Hands-on experience in handling Metrics, Volumes and other SLAs (including escalations) is required.
Qualifications
- Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Management/Administration or related field of study.
