As a full-time employee in the FIS University Program, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, professional development seminars, and work with a team that is invested in your growth, development, and success; including bi-annual performance connects with your manager.

This two-year full-time program has start dates in January, March, June, and September with a dedicated “Learning Week” where you will:

  • Build a network of your peers from across the organization

This position is for a June 2026 start.

About the Role

Monitors and examines data being collected to assure quality and adherence to standards. Collaborates with Business, IT, and Operations to resolve data quality problems, improve systems, database designs, and business intelligence. Participates in product development to ensure understanding of data and proper use.

About The Team

The Data Quality team is an integral part of the ChexSystems line of business. ChexSystems products are data-driven and the Data Quality team looks for inconsistencies within incoming data and the data already housed within production systems. The team is also critical in providing business intelligence insights to help understand trends and provide direction to the business regarding client activity and opportunities to expand product scope and breadth. This teams influence spans virtually all products and services. ChexSystems is held to the regulatory “maximum possible accuracy” standard in its’ products, and the Data Quality team is central to that standard.

What You Will Be Doing

  • You will be analysing data within ChexSystems and making recommendations on where processes and procedures could be improved.

  • Explore both new and legacy technologies and tools to identify data anomalies, trends in existing data, and to validate new data sources.

  • You will become an expert in data and systems to assist product teams design and execute on new product initiatives.

  • You will work closely with multiple teams leveraging and learning skills to propel the business forward and achieve objectives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Fluent in English; Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work well independently and within a team

Bonus If You Have

  • Experience on both Mainframe and Unix/Linux systems

  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau or PowerBI
