Quality Assurance EngineerWhat does a successful Quality Assurance Engineer do at Fiserv?
A successful Quality Assurance Engineer at Fiserv designs and develops comprehensive end-to-end automation frameworks and ensures they contribute seamlessly to our CI/CD pipeline. They work on testing applications across web, desktop, and databases while driving continuous improvement in all processes. Our QA engineers operate in a collaborative environment, consistently pushing the boundaries of what's possible in financial services technology.
What you will do:
- Define and design the Accessibility Testing strategy/framework to enable teams to implement it during SDLC
- Create and maintain training materials and educate team members on ADA/Accessibility requirements, policy, and best practices, including policies and standards aligned to WCAG and local laws
- Design and develop end-to-end automation frameworks
- Execute API Testing using Rest Assured, Postman Enterprise, and Swagger
- Drive CI/CD pipeline integration using Gitlab CI
- Facilitate continuous improvement in test planning, execution, debugging, metric collection, and reporting
What you will need to have:
- 10+ years of experience in designing end to end automation frameworks
- 10+ years of experience in API Testing using Rest Assured or Postman Enterprise
- 10+ years of experience in E2E Automation using Selenium or Appium
- 10+ years of experience in developing automation frameworks using Java and/or Python
- 5+ years of experience in accessibility testing
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Experience in distributed testing/automation/performance activities
- Hands-on experience with Gitlab CI for CI/CD pipeline integration
- Familiarity with various collaboration tools like MS Teams
- Strong troubleshooting skills and adaptability to change
