IT Support Analyst - Desktop

What does a successful IT Desktop Support Analyst do at Fiserv?
As part of Fiserv Technology Services, you will be responsible for providing superior IT support for production floor endpoints manufacturing products for Output Solutions. In addition, you will provide end user computing support and services, working with the latest hardware and software technologies. Technologies include PC, Print, Mobility and telecommunications. You will utilize system management tools and ITIL Service Delivery processes to deliver first class service and support. Duties may also include application support, participation in projects as needed and utilization of an Incident and Service Request Management system for logging, tracking, and communication of technical support issues. To succeed in this role, you should be an excellent communicator, and be able to build strong working relationships with Fiserv executives and associates.

What you will do:

  • Install and support of end user devices including PC’s, LAN/WAN, printers, and other peripherals
  • Install, support and maintain PC applications in a Windows 10 Active Directory environment. Software includes Operating Systems, Office 365, Endpoint Security, VPN, System Management tools and various business unit software titles.
  • Administration of system management tools and applications such as SCCM, for the purpose of ensuring the secure and reliable operation of technology.
  • Maintain proper documentation, as required by the leadership of Corporate Systems, to properly track the status of all service calls, to assist the helpdesk in providing prompt response to users, and report on the progress of duties related to project participation.
  • Support and participate in the continuous assessment and improvement of the quality of care and services provided.
  • Participate in the delivery of project objectives as directed.
  • Work closely with Output Solutions architects, technical engineers and business operation leaders to support their needs.
  • Performs other duties as required.

What you will need to have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical support position providing end user computing support.
  • 3+ years of experience building, deploying, and troubleshooting PC equipment in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lifting (up to 40 lbs), & crouching (beneath desks/machines)
  • High School/GED Diploma.

What would be great to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience.
  • Printer maintenance experience a plus.

  • Travel is required within 20-mile radius to various Fiserv facilities.
