Application Support EngineerAbout your role:
As Application Support Engineer (AppOps) you will be part of a supportive and flexible environment that encourages thinking outside of the box. Working with other members of the Technical Operations team, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of our Windows Servers environment. You will also be responsible for the technical operations of the Director and Nautilus product suite, which provides support and access so our financial clients can effectively perform their jobs and run their financial institution. The ideal candidate will be capable of analyzing and solving complex production issues and performing the root cause analysis.
What you’ll do:
- Develop, configure, and maintain OnBase Solutions (Processor Models, Workflow, Unity)
- Analyze business processes and pursue application improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and user-reported problems
- Collaborate with peers and infrastructure teams
to optimize workflows - Maintain security protocols and compliance standards under our application umbrella
- Document processes and provide technical support for application systems
- Analyze and improve delivery performance using relevant tools and metrics
- Maintains on-call availability to respond to application inquiries; must be flexible and available with the scheduling
Experience you’ll need to have:
- 10+ years of experience with OnBase administration and development
- 5+ years of experience in SQL scripting, Microsoft stack
- Experience with monitoring tools – Dynatrace or Splunk
- Experience working in a ServiceNow ticketing environment
- Automation driven skills - Harness or GitHub
- Robotic process automation tooling – UIPath or Automation Anywhere
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience that would be great to have:
- Working in an on-call environment to respond to application inquiries; must be flexible and available with scheduling on a rotational basis
- Experience working with databases
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
How you’ll work:
- Fiserv emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech; this role is on-site Monday through Friday.
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
