Business Analysis -Advisor I

What does a successful Business Analysis Advisor I do at Fiserv?
A successful Business Analysis Advisor I at Fiserv excels in performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and conducting quality assurance validation to ensure our solutions meet business needs. With an analytical mindset, they evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and develop optimized solutions. Effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is crucial, along with providing leadership and guidance to junior staff, thereby fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.

What you will do:

  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes to develop optimization strategies.
  • Gather, document, and communicate requirements and high-level estimates for defect fixes and enhancements.
  • Independently prepare and execute automated test scripts, ensuring the highest degree of quality in all deliverables.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and technical teams to facilitate effective implementation of solutions and conduct peer reviews of test conditions and data requirements.

What you will need to have:

  • 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, including in the Credit Union processing domain.
  • 5+ years of experience in gathering requirements, documenting processes, and creating functional specifications.
  • Proficiency in using advanced automated testing tools and frameworks such as JIRA, QTEST, Tosca, and conducting various testing methodologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and/or equivalent military experience.

What would be great to have:

  • 4+ years of experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • 4+ years of experience leading, facilitating, and documenting functional processes and dialogue flows.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting complex problems, analyzing root causes, and proposing effective solutions
