Job Title
Press OperatorWhat does a successful Press Operator do at Fiserv?
You will join the team at our Hazelwood, MO location and receive training on our world-class Printing Press equipment, while maintaining high levels of confidentiality and efficiency to meet client Service Level Agreements. You will operate the print press machines to produce client graphics and monitor the print process through adjustments to ensure quality standards are met. You will troubleshoot any machine errors that may occur to complete print projects by the specified deadline.
What you will do:
- Operate print press machines manufactured by Komori and/or Heidelberg.
- Review job ticket to determine the paper stock and color specifications to complete the job order.
- Install parts and ink supplies on the print press to achieve proper ink application.
- Conduct quality control checks by testing inks of the print surface to maintain consistency.
- Clean the print press machines of used ink after work order completion to prepare for next run.
- Document record of approved and defective units in the activity logs.
What you will need to have:
- 2+ years of print press operating experience in a fast-paced environment.
- 1 year of experience effectively matching colors for print press operation.
- Ability to interpret and understand print work orders to reduce waste.
- Ability to stand 95% of your shift and safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance.
- Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel, and bend often.
What would be great to have:
- A high school diploma, equivalent work, or a combination of work, education, and military experience.
- 4+ years of print press operating experience in a fast-paced environment.
- 2+ years of Komori or Heidelberg press operating experience.
Important information about this role:
- You will work an assigned schedule of: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm;
- Eligible to earn shift differential pay for working 2nd or 3rd shifts
- Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays
This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.
