Job Title

Software Development Engineer, Advisor II

At Fiserv, we power payments and financial technology that moves money and information securely and at scale. You’ll join our FCRM product development team to design, build, and optimize fraud and compliance solutions used by financial institutions worldwide. This role focuses on delivering resilient, secure capabilities that detect and prevent financial crime while improving operational efficiency.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead design and development of FCRM modules usingC#(.NET Core), Angular,SQL Server, andAzureservices.
  • Architect scalable, secure, high‑performance solutions for fraud detection and compliance workflows.
  • Collaborate with product management, architecture, and DevOps to deliver features through Agile/SAFe cycles.
  • Implement CI/CD automation withAzure DevOpsand Terraform; optimize build, test, and deploy pipelines.
  • Apply and validate security and regulatory controls (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 1) across application and cloud environments.
  • Provide Tier 3 engineering support, diagnose production issues, and drive root‑cause remediation.
  • Mentor developers and contribute to technical strategy and roadmap evolution.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • 4+ years of experience inC#/.NET Corebackend services and RESTful API design.
  • 4+ years of experience building Single Page Applications with Angular and TypeScript.
  • 4+ years of experience with MicrosoftSQL Server, including schema design,T‑SQL, and performance tuning.
  • 4+ years of experience designing microservices and distributed systems (e.g.,AzureKubernetes Service).
  • 4+ years of experience withAzure DevOps(Repos, Pipelines) and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • 4+ years of experience implementing CI/CD, automated testing (e.g., xUnit/NUnit), and deployment strategies.
  • 4+ years of experience applying security/compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 1) and identity integration (AzureAD, OAuth2/OpenID Connect).
  • 4+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Exposure to multi‑tenant SaaS architectures, configuration frameworks, and tenant isolation inAzure.
  • Familiarity with observability tools (AzureMonitor, Application Insights, Splunk) for tracing and performance tuning.
  • Background in AI/ML techniques for anomaly detection or fraud scoring (e.g.,AzureML, Python).
  • Cross‑functional leadership in SAFe Agile, including mentoring and coordination with product, architecture, and DevOps.

Salary Range

$109,000.00 - $182,400.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
