DevOps EngineerAbout your role:
As an Infrastructure Engineering - Sr Professional II, you will play a critical role in designing, managing and optimizing infrastructure systems that are essential for Fiserv's operations and growth. Working closely with a dedicated team, you will address complex infrastructure challenges and ensure seamless integration and performance of various systems. Your contributions will be key in driving innovative solutions and supporting our clients, significantly enhancing our overall business success.
What you'll do:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes
Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Chef or similar while enforcing security, stability, and compliance best practices
Augment and improve our logging, monitoring, and alerting platform
Collaborate with development teams to streamline workflows and increase the velocity of our engineering teams
Implement and enforce security and compliance best practices, monitor and manage production and development environments, responding to incidents and ensuring high availability
Participate in maintenance events and on-call rotation, investigating issues, while working with the organization on incident response
Assist in configuration of integrated tools and user management

Experience you'll need to have:
6+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role
3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools, pipelines and DevOps practices in a complex, enterprise-level environment. (TeamCity, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
3+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
2+ years of experience using IaC tooling to manage a fleet of servers (Terraform, Chef, Ansible)
2+ years of experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Proven success integrating applications into an observability platform (Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus)
Familiarity with common database technologies (MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or related field or an equivalent combination or related experience, and/or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
Experience in the financial services industry and associated compliance standards
Experience with database administration best practices on MySQL
Experience handling Data warehouse or Data Lake Setup in a DevOps capacity
Salary Range
$82,000.00 - $141,600.00These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
