Job Title
Instructional DesignerThe Instructional Designer supports the development of associate knowledge, skills, and performance by creating high‑quality training programs aligned with business objectives. This role is responsible for designing and developing a broad range of learning materials—including classroom and virtual courseware, job aids, facilitator guides, assessments, presentations, and multimedia resources. Content will include both technical and non‑technical topics related primarily to the products, systems, and interaction skills essential for contact center associates.
This position reports to the Learning Manager within the Customer Solutions Learning and Knowledge Solutions (LKS) Department.
What You Will Do
Training Design & Development
- Develop a comprehensive suite of learning materials, including instructor‑led and eLearning content, job aids, facilitator guides, multimedia assets, and assessments for one or more product lines.
- Create both technical and non‑technical training content with an emphasis on contact center operations and performance needs.
Methodology Application
- Apply the ADDIE instructional design model using a balance of structured and iterative approaches.
- Integrate adult learning principles to ensure content is engaging, relevant, and effective for diverse learners.
Consulting & Collaboration
- Serve as a learning consultant to ensure training solutions align with evolving business priorities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders—including Supervisors, Managers, Team Leaders, and external vendors—to validate content accuracy and business relevance.
- Contribute to Customer Care Operations (CCO) initiatives by recommending, designing, and delivering instructional solutions in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
Facilitation Support
- Provide guidance to facilitators on effective delivery of developed training materials.
- Maintain and update training content to reflect current systems, processes, and best practices.
Continuous Improvement
- Recommend enhancements to curriculum design, development processes, and learning strategies within the LKS organization.

What you will need to have:
- 3+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience; or a 4-year college degree in a related field
- 1+ years of experience collaborating with stakeholders and applying basic project management skills.
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing learning materials within a contact center or customer service environment.
- Proficiency with design and development tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Articulate 360.
- Demonstrated integrity, initiative, and the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
- Good time management and project management with ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
What Would Be Great to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline.
- Experience providing learning and development consulting.
- Familiarity with instructional design and training delivery best practices.
- A proactive approach to staying current with evolving instructional design methods and tools.
- Certification or practical experience with ADDIE, Agile, SAM, or similar design methodologies.
- Knowledge of Money Network products, procedures, and systems.
How you’ll work:
- This role is remote, Monday through Friday.
- This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.
