Client Operations Support ProfessionalAbout your role:
As a Client Operations Support Professional, you manage day-to-day interactions for a defined client portfolio and coordinate with production, technology, and development teams to resolve operational issues. You oversee daily reconciliation and validation of work supporting the production facility, document outcomes, and communicate status clearly. Your work strengthens service reliability, deepens client relationships, and enables our clients to deliver consistent, high-quality experiences.
What you'll do:
- Build and maintain productive relationships with key client contacts through clear, proactive communication and timely follow-up.
- Answer questions and resolve issues related to products and services, coordinating with production and technology teams to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Navigate multiple systems and customer relationship management (CRM) tools to research inquiries, document actions, and track case progress.
- Analyze error trends, recommend corrective actions, and drive issue containment and prevention.
- Cross-train and provide flexible assistance across workflows to meet client commitments and operational goals.
- Maintain up-to-date industry and product knowledge to propose creative, compliant alternatives for client needs.
- Process transactions and updates accurately and on time; validate reconciliations and confirm completion of assigned work.
- Prepare periodic reports and activity logs for management and client review, highlighting status, risks, and next steps.
Experience you'll need to have:
- 3+ years of experience in client operations, client support, or account service in a B2B environment, coordinating across production and technology teams.
- 3+ years of experience using customer relationship management (CRM) or ticketing systems to manage cases, document actions, and track SLAs.
- 3+ years of experience performing daily reconciliation and validation activities or similar production control/operational quality work.
- 3+ years of experience creating client-facing updates, reports, and activity logs with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- 3+ years of experience analyzing issues, identifying trends, and recommending corrective actions with clear written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience in financial services or fintech.
- Familiarity with SQL for querying and validating operational data.
- Experience with Fiserv solutions such as Statement Advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills for quoting, billing, and reconciliation; industry certifications such as HDI Customer Service Representative or equivalent.
How you'll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
- This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis.
